The VI Avalanche Bulletin needs our help! As you know, this knowledgeable non-profit society provides Vancouver Island with an avalanche forecast – an invaluable service we draw on whenever we spend time in the backcountry during the winter and spring seasons. Unfortunately, they are unable to organize their usual fundraising events this year and are looking to us for financial support. Very timely. The ACC executive is discussing how to allocate the limited amount of money we have for 2020 donations over the next few weeks (and the Avi Bulletin is one we have always supported). I’m sure many organizations have greater needs this year, so it would be great to get ideas of where the membership would like to see us contribute. Thanks
