This 2 day course provided by Vibe is a comprehensive experience for those ready to deepen their skills in traditional (trad) climbing. Designed for climbers looking to advance beyond sport climbing or top-rope, this extended course provides ample time to practice gear placements, anchor building, route management, and safety techniques under expert guidance. The two-day format allows for more in-depth instruction and hands-on learning, ensuring you gain confidence and skill to climb independently on single-pitch trad routes. Trad skills are essential for tackling big mountain objectives and essential to becoming an independent mountaineer.
Required Gear:
Harness, Helmet, ATC, Locking Carabiner, Prusik, Rock Shoes, Approach Shoes (Optional).
Food, water, sunscreen, rain gear.
Skill Requirements:
10 pitches of outdoor climbing in the last 12 Months.
Knowledge of basic climbing knots and rope systems.
Experience with lead climbing (gym or outdoor).
