The Peaks of the Balkans Trail is a 200 km cross-border route with 10,000 m elevation gain, through the mountainous borderlands of Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo. Known for its turbulent history, much of the region has only recently become accessible to foreigners. It’s a journey which offers glorious rugged landscapes, high passes, remote villages, and outstanding biodiversity.
Catrin and Erich will share their experiences on the trail from June 2023, and Martin and Alcina will add some images from their trip in September.
