Details: Friday, February 21. A straight-forward snowshoe up to the top of Mt. Becher (700m elevation gain) with fantastic views. Suitable for intermediate snowshoers as there is a bit of challenging terrain, more physically demanding than technical. There’s a steep bit at the beginning and again just before the summit. About 11 kilometres return.

Bring your ten essentials and lunch. Should take about 6-8 hours. We’ll hope for clear skies and fresh snow.

Please contact Jane for logistics. She lives in Parksville.
