I would like to restart the Trip Leadership Recognition Program for our Section. It was last active in 2021 and has been dormant since. Is there interest among leaders and potential leaders to see this happen. I envisage the program being run on the website with leaders gaining a point for each day of a trip ie. a day trip is worth one point and a 3 day trip is worth 3 points; points would only be counted if the leader sends in a brief trip summary ( on a provided google spreadsheet ) to the section Volunteer Coordinator. Top point accumulators would be recognized at the AGM and receive badges, swag etc.. We could also have points be recognized for value in a new Leader Course subsidy program being developed for leaders.
