Kludahk Trail Snowshoeing

Originally published at: https://accvi.ca/events/kludahk-trail-snowshoeing/

Meeting at carpool location (TBD) for an 8:00am departure, we will drive up towards the Kludahk Trail, ~90 minute drive. We will have a loose plan as we may need to adjust based on conditions and ability of vehicles to traverse up the hill. If we can make it to the planned parking area, we will snowshoe to Blueberry Cabin where we’ll have lunch, and then on the return, pending conditions, time, and how the group is feeling, we may visit the Tea Hut before heading back to the vehicles. Maximum distance is 10km. Alternately, we’ll let the conditions determine where we stop, park, and begin to snowshoe from; in this scenario, we may not make it onto the Kludahk trail but can have some fun snowshoeing on logging roads. This trek could be cancelled due to heavy rain/snow.
