Kamma/Minna ridge hike

On Sunday June 28, 2026, two of us headed up Kamma and Minna Ridge. This is a lovely hike through subalpine meadows. The hike starts with a relatively easy 400m hike up to Kamma ridge (which is more of a bump than a ridge). After a quick explore and break we lost 100m before heading back up for the ridge portion of the hike to Minna ridge at 1418m. Though the rain held off, we unfortunately didn’t get a lot of views and had to satisfy ourselves with vies of the spring flowers and tarn covered ridge. There is a small lake/large tarn on the way that could be used for a dip but it was too cold for us on this day.
