This is a co-presentation between CDMC (Comox District Mountaineering Club) and ACCVI. A Zoom invitation will be sent out to the ACCVI membership a week prior to Dec. 2 and on Dec. 2, 2021

Do you want to extend your hiking season into the winter? Snowshoeing is a great way to do that and there are so many possibilities on Vancouver Island!

In the Zoom presentation, Susan will cover the basic equipment, types of clothing and footwear, food options, safety gear and practices, and routes. Roger and Peggy may chime in occasionally as well. There will be time for questions and experience sharing at the end of the presentation.

The leaders will follow up with offering shorter, easier trips up to longer more complex trips in the 2021-2022 winter season. So stay tuned to the CDMC and ACCVI club schedules for those trips!

If you are a member of either club and are an experienced snowshoer and would like to lead a snowshoe outing please let us know as we would love to have you onboard.

We look forward to getting out there in the hills and mountains to play in and experience the white stuff in a fun and safe way!
