FSR FOREST SERVICE ROADS
FMCBC and ORCBC are preparing to lobby provincial government to increase maintenance funds for FSR’s that lead to recreation destinations. These would accredited parks, locally know recreation sites, boat launches, hiking trails, natural phenomena for all users: paddlers, hikers, skiing/snowboarders, runners.
They are looking to list impediments to travel: rock fall, avalanche risk, ditching/washout, gates, unsafe or missing infrastructure, Wildlife Management Closure, FN. interests .
Information needed: name of the road ( local & official), GPS location, description of the problem, photos if possible, recreation objective, dat e.
