FSR FOREST SERVICE ROADS SURVEY
Resource Road Access Survey | Outdoor Recreation Council of BC — Outdoor Recreation Council of BC open into 2027. Contributing here will aid in prioritizing the most important accesses to popular sites.
Background
ORCBC is preparing to lobby provincial government to increase maintenance funds for Forest Service Roads that lead to recreation destinations i.e. accredited parks, locally know recreation sites, boat launches, hiking trails, natural phenomena for all users: paddlers, hikers, skiing/snowboarders, runners. Motorized & commercial operations will be part of this lobby. FMCBC is working actively on this project .
Information needed: name of the road ( local & official), GPS location, description of the problem, photos if possible, recreation objective. Please list impediments to travel: rock fall, avalanche risk, ditching/washout, gates, unsafe or missing infrastructure, Wildlife Management Closure, FN. interest s.
