Proposed objectives for either ski or climbing conditions:
Plan A – Reese ridge ski tour, access via Carey ridge (if snow levels allow for vehicle access via Cruikshank valley). AST 1, ice axe, winter camping
Plan B – Cat’s ears W-ridge, AI2, 5.6. – beautiful, long and dramatic ridge with great exposure. Exit options are to backtrack, via the MacKenzie range or Triple peak depending on conditions. AST1, crampons, 2 ice tools, harness, helmet, technical climbing experience, winter camping, snowshoes
Plan C & D are a day trip versions of plan A & B
