Description: Basically a copy of Alois’ previous club trips to City of Rocks, Idaho. I have 3 campsites reserved in the City of Rocks National Reserve with a maximum capacity of 24. Plan is to climb and climb some more on the fabulous granite. It can get quite hot there but I’m hoping that the end of summer will be a bit cooler.

What to bring: There’s a great mix of trad and sport climbs there. Bring harness, helmet, climbing shoes, chalk, approach shoes (optional), rope(s), draws, extendible draws, belay device, biners, and a rack or two. If you have a stick clip, please bring it (some first bolts are quite high). Will also need standard camping gear for car camping. Also layers and sun protection. Tape and skin repair supplies are also a good idea, if you have them.
