January 20th - Casey Matsuda, John Relyea-Voss, Isaiah Jacobson, Stas Beskin
7:00 AM we all met up downtown Canmore for some much anticipated mixed and ice climbing. Casey and I drove to the Bear Spirit Trailhead just outside Banff and met up with our Trip Participant Isaiah Jacobson and a the Pro Ice Climber, Stas Beksin. We set off on a 40 minute approach to the crag and had an awesome day climbing various mixed and ice lines on lead and toprope. A perfect day to practice our skills!
We also had the pleasure of watching Stas solo some thin steep ice pillars in classic Stas Style
