If you are interested in participating on a guided, catered six day ski traverse from Bow Summit in Banff National Park to Field, BC via the Wapta icefield and staying at Bow, Guy and Stanley Mitchell huts please contact Scott Collins (scottcollins@shaw.ca) for details. The traverse is scheduled for Apr. 19-24, 2023 and the fee is $2150 per person plus taxes. This includes all hut fees, wilderness pass, ACMG guiding and meals. The trip will run with a minimum of four skiers and a maximum of six per one guide. Backcountry ski touring experience in glaciated terrain with AST1 is a prerequisite. Participants will be carrying ca. 20 kg packs at the start of the traverse and should be comfortable skiing in natural snow under all conditions carrying this weight. Please respond before Mar. 19 2023 and be prepared to pay full fees soon after.
