Hi folks
Cal Veenstra and I attempted to summit Big Baldy Mountain, just west of Gold River, on Sunday.
We drove up Maggie Creek, (Branch H11 off of the Heads Bay Forest Service Road), to the top of a pass that lies west of Big Baldy, We then hiked east up the ridge to the mountain. Touch going for the first kilometre and then open ridge walking.
Has anyone else experience on Big Baldy and have a recommendation for a better hiking route?
