If conditions allow, the plan is to ski up and around Mt. Cokely, with an expected elevation gain of approximately 1000–1200m throughout the day. Participants must have AST 1 certification and be strong skiers/boarders, comfortable navigating black runs in variable conditions.
An alternative objective, depending on conditions, will be Mt. Brooks and Mt. Elma. For more information on these terrain options and others, refer to Island Turns and Tours by Philip Stone.
This is a day trip. We will meet early in the morning on Saturday and finish in the afternoon.
The trip is co-lead by Lukas Matejovsky and Jessica Ferguson.
