Local businesses Basecamp Repairs and Mozet Supplies are hosting an Introduction to Make Your Own Gear (MYOG) exclusively for Vancouver Island Alpine Club members. Participants will learn how to use a sewing machine and make a zippered pouch – a great foundation for making your own apparel, bags etc. We’ll provide the webbing, zippers and recycled fabric (as needed).
The cost is $65 + GST for an evening session running between 6:00 and 9:00pm on either:
Tuesday, October 6th, or;
Tuesday, October 13th
The workshop will be held at 230 – 2612 Bridge Street, Victoria (near the Port Ellice / Bay Street bridge).
Each workshop will have a minimum of four participants and a maximum of eight, with one or two instructors depending on the size of the class.
