Wednesday evening Jan 10, 2024 we have a classic slide show at Swan Lake Nature House: “Fairweather: From Sea To Sky”
Author and climber Donald Langlois will come to Victoria specifically to recount his 1981 climb of Mt Fairweather on the BC/Alaska border. In addition to the climb, I’m sure it will be a great opportunity for some of us to vicariously relive using gear from a few years back. Don will also have some of his books with him for those who wish to purchase one. Doors open at 7:00pm and meeting starts at 7:30. Tea, coffee and snacks are by donation.
Note that Jan, Feb & March slide shows are on Wednesday, not Thursday evening due to the venue’s availability.
