Backcountry skiing is the first step into the world of winter mountain travel. This YouTube livestream presentation is designed for individuals who are interested in gaining the knowledge required to ski to spectacular mountain locations and discover untouched powder slopes. As personal skills develop, it is possible to ascend to the summit of peaks and travel safely across glaciers and icefields. The basic equipment, travel skills, and managing hazards will be introduced in this session.
