I am a forestry worker in the Lake Cowichan area, which I have done for most of my working career. That said, I have spent lots of time hiking mountains. I live a pretty simple life, which is the way I like it. Not to much of a world traveller, but the cenotes in the Yucatan peninsula intrigue me, mainly from a prime water stand point, so do the high mountain lakes for this reason.
I like to stay healthy, but not by following any extreme diet. Cold showers are a wonderful thing. I follow more an old way of living taught to me by my Italian parents who came from the mountains of northern Italy, living a subsistence farming life.
