ACCVI has booked the Wheeler Hut in Rogers Pass for the week of August 13 – 20, and also the Asulkan Cabin for three days mid-week.
Rogers Pass is known as the birthplace of Canadian mountaineering, and numerous spectacular hikes, climbs and opportunities for mountaineering are available from the Wheeler Hut. A 4-hour hike up-valley takes you to the Asulkan Cabin at 2100 metres, with access to the Asulkan glacier, and a tremendous view down-valley to Rogers Pass.
The cost is $550, which includes 7 nights accommodation in the Wheeler Hut, and the option of spending a night mid-week in the Asulkan Cabin.
