Meeting Place: Mt. Wells parking lot by Humpback Reservoir (8:30 AM)

Co-Leaders: Roger & Peggy Taylor

Do you think you know the only way up and down Mt. McDonald? Well you may or may not know these routes! We are sometimes on trail, but many times on more of a route with the occasional tiny bushwack. We will travel past Humpback reservoir, through a lovely older forest, to an unnamed bump and then up the north side of Mt. McDonald. We have two choices on the return: to loop back via a northern clockwise route or via a southern counter-clockwise route to circumnavigate McDonald. If you are game for a different exploration of this area, please join us for a fun outing. Depending on route selection timing may vary. Suitable for new or long-term members….all welcome! But no dogs please.

Required gear: sturdy hiking boots, warm layers, rain gear, lunch/snacks, warm drink and other essentials. Hiking pole(s) and recommended.

(Please note that Peggy will be away from a computer most of Friday…..but will return emails on Friday evening)
