Take 2 of last week’s trip postponed due to weather. It seems to have smartened up for this weekend and looks good!
A gently paced back-packing trip to Flower Ridge in Strathcona Park 22 – 24 July
Friday 22nd: depart from trail head in the morning (participants may want to car camp the night before). Hike up to the ridge (approx 1100 m elevation) and camp by lake.
Saturday 23rd: hike and explore the length of the ridge to Central Crags, return to camp
Sunday 24th: hike out to trailhead
Needed: equipment for back-packing and 2 nights camping, including self-sufficiency for meals, the 10 essentials.
